In addition to the normal risks associated with investing, the Fund may realize losses if the proposed reorganizations in which the Fund invests are renegotiated or terminated. The Fund uses investment techniques that are different from the risks ordinarily associated with equity investments. Such techniques and strategies include merger arbitrage risks, high portfolio turnover risks, options risks, borrowing risks, short sale risks, and foreign investment risks, which may increase volatility and may increase costs and lower performance.

Overall rated 4 stars for the period ending 11/30/09 out of 112 Long-Short funds. For each fund with at least a three-year history, Morningstar calculates a Morningstar Rating based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a fund's monthly performance (including the effects of sales charges, loads and redemption fees), placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of funds in each category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. The Overall Morningstar Rating for a fund is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five- and ten-year Morningstar Ratings metric. ARBFX was rated against 112 Long-Short funds over a three-year period and 65 over a five-year period. With respect to these funds, ARBFX received a rating of 4 stars and 4 stars respectively.
